The dial with white enamel chapter ring and blued steel sweep centre seconds, the recessed centre showing the motionwork, the movement with four back-pinned pillars, twin barrels and strike on gong, Brocot type escapement with steel star wheel extended through the dial plate on the same arbor locking and unlocking a spring-loaded detent with pinion to the large diameter seconds wheel behind the motionwork, back plate with stamps for Japy Frères and Auge.
