Wenceslaus Wilfarth, Prague. Last quarter 18th Century
The fully brass-lined case sides with pierced frets above glazed panels, the brass dial with engraved centre signed Wenceslaus Wilfarth/Prag, mock pendulum aperture, the arch with date ring flanked by quarters/no quarters and strike/no strike rings, blued steel hands, the short duration movement with line and fusee time train and twin barrels for the strike and quarter trains, verge escapement, striking and repeating on two bells, the back plate with foliate scroll engraving and repeat signature
