The inverted bell top case with glazed and fret-pierced side panels, brass dial with silvered chapter ring, matted centre with mock pendulum aperture and date square, signed on an oval plaque Jasper Taylor/Holborn London, blued steel hands, the arch with strike/silent ring, the six pillar movement with twin line and fusees, now with anchor escapement, hour strike on bell and pull quarter repeat on six bells, with repeat signature to engraved back plate, brackets possibly replaced; pendulum
