A MEISSEN FIGURE OF HARLEQUIN PLAYING THE BAGPIPES
CIRCA 1745
Modelled by J.J. Kändler, in a pink conical hat, white shirt and breeches with pink rosettes and black shoes, his jacket half in blue and half painted with playing cards, his bagpipes beneath his left arm, seated cross-legged on rockwork applied with flowers (restoration to brim of hat, fingers, mouth piece and horn of bagpipes, rosette and bow-tie)
