Two Chinese jade carvings
a spinach jade belthook carved on top with a scrolling guei dragon advancing towards the dragon head terminal; and a brown and russet jade carving of a recumbent horse, its head turned and resting on a hind leg - 5 1/8in. (13cm.) long. (2)
Provenance
The horse carving was purchased from Robert D. Thompson, Hong Kong, on 3 January 1977.
