A gentleman said to be Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer (1661-1724), in lace jabot and long curling wig
oil on copper, signed 'S du Bois fecit 1684' on reverse, fitted shagreen case with stud-work and applied steel crowned cipher
oval, 3 1/8 in. (80 mm.) high; and a gentleman, with lace jabot and curling wig (Dutch School, circa 1680)
