A GERMAN CRUPPER OF FLUTED PLATES, IN LATE 15TH CENTURY GOTHIC STYLE
19th Century
Of narrow form constructed of two matching sets of four plates at the sides, decorated throughout with diagonal patterns of broad shallow flutes, the lower edges and subsidiary edges cusped, and the two halves joined by a mis-matched fluted rear plate with U-shaped cut-out for the tail.
