SMALL ELEMENTS FROM TWO SHAFFRONS, IN 16TH CENTURY STYLE

The first a muzzle defence, of strongly convex form drawn up to a medial ridge and outwards to a pronounced basal flange, studded with iron rivets and with turned roped edge; the second a poll-plate of two lames, plain, with bevelled edges.
