With broad double-edged blade rounded at the point, cut with a very shallow fuller running three-quarters of its length and with a mark inlaid with a latten cross on both sides, iron hilt comprising straight writhen quillons swelling toward the tips, boldly fluted plummet-shaped pommel, and moulded leather-bound grip.
