A Chinese painted grey pottery model of a duck, Han dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD)
the seated duck modelled with its painted wings crossed over and legs tucked in at the sides, the head held high looking forward with a circular rimmed opening at its top, the feathers painted in white and green pigments and the beak painted red -- 15¼in. (38.7cm.) long.
