A Chinese blanc-de-chine rhinoceros-form cup and two small vases
Late 17th and early 18th Century
The cup derived from the shape of a rhinocers horn with scalloped rim terminating in a point, the sides applied with branches of prunus, with wood stand, 12.8 cm. diam., crack and frits; and two small bottle vases moulded in releif with qilong around the neck, one signed, 11.1 cm. high max. (3)
