Kitae [forging pattern]: tight tame of ko-nie
Hamon [tempering pattern]: hoso-suguha
Boshi [tip]: hakikake
Nakago [tang]: o-suriage with three holes, kiri file marks
Habaki [collar]: single, gold
Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 25½in. (64.8cm.) long
Motohaba [width at start of tempered edge]: 1 1/8in. (2.9cm.)
Sakihaba [width before tip]: ¾in. (1.9cm.)

In shirasaya [plain wood storage scabbard]

With a Tokubetsu kicho token (Especially precious sword) certificate no. 17930 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 1978. 10.29
