Sugata [configuration]: hon-zukuri, iori-mune, extended kissaki
Kitae [forging pattern]: itame with vivid jinie and aranie
Hamon [tempering pattern]: toranba with sunagashi and yo
Boshi [tip]: midarekomi
Horimono [carving]: bo-hi with kaki-nagashi on both sides
Nakago [tang]: o-suriage with two holes
Habaki [collar]: double, gold
Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 25 5/8in. (65.2cm.) long
Motohaba [width at start of tempered edge]: 1 3/8in. (3.5cm.)
Sakihaba [width before tip]: 1¼in. (3.2cm.)
In shirasaya [plain wood storage scabbard] inscribed by sword polisher Hon'ami Nisshu (1908-1995)
