Tibet, 18th century
With Tsongkapa, founder of the Gelugpa School, seated at center with Shakyamuni at his heart, flanked by lotuses at both sides supported his sword of wisdom and Prajaparanita book, holding a bowl in his left hand and golden strings in his right connecting to lineage teachers above and to the sides, and the field of protectors and meditational deities below, all the main deities of the Gelugpa tradition depicted

Tsongkapa is believed to be one of the three emanations of Manjushri, hence the book and sword.
