with rounded sides rising to the everted rounded rim, supported on a short tapering foot, the interior with a central medallion encircled by ruyi heads and enclosing birds perched on prunus and bamboo bordered by brushwork fences before a gate, the rim with a foliate peony scrolls, the undersides with a continuous leafy scroll -- 14¼in. (36.1cm.) diam.
