A set of three Chinese famille rose octagonal dishes, Qianlong (1736-1795)
of graduating sizes, each enamelled in the well with a pair of cranes in a fenced garden amidst rockwork, peony sprays and lingzhi fungus, framed with a spearhead border, the rim with geese alternating with floral sprays and grass blades -- the largest 15 1/8in. (38.4cm.) wide. (3)
