Circa 1830, iron-red script Schoelcher mark to the ornothological compotes and plates
The border with concentric gilt and claret bands centering a band of gilt trailing flowers and leaves, comprising:
Two footed compotes painted in bright colors with a bird on a branch named 'le barbu' and 'le torccan' in French along the length of the branch, 8 5/8 in. (21.8 cm.) diameter
Five ornithological dessert plates, labeled for 'Le Ciprin','l'ecorcheur', 'Demoiselle', 'le pipite', 'la satyrnal', 8½ in. (21.5 cm.) diam.
Eleven plates, undecorated, the borders identical, 8¾ in. (22.3 cm.) diam. (18)
