LATE 3RD-EARLY 2ND MILLENNIUM B.C.
With three vertical rows of prominent spikes interspersed with three recumbent felines facing three recumbent rams, a band of three long-horned ibex below, 7¼ in. (18.5 cm.) high; five other Elamite bronze mace heads, one with three panels of lozenges in a herringbone pattern divided by parallel ridges, early 2nd millennium B.C., 9¼ in. (23.5 cm.) high; another with panels of diagonal lozenges divided by stylized snakes; another with rows of large spikes between horizontal and vertical bands, both 9½ in. (24 cm.) high; another with three panels of raised bosses divided by vertical wavy bands, 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; and another, similar, with large band of raised bosses with raised scrolling decoration below, 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) high, all late 3rd-early 2nd millennium B.C., all mounted (6)
