Two bronze models of curlew, signed, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
both naturalistically modelled, standing with feathered wings and long curved beaks, the first with its neck reaching out, looking out into the distance, the other with its head tucked into its body looking to the floor, silvered oval signature plaque reading Tsuguyoshi to base -- 5 7/8in. (15cm.) high max.
