An ivory and wood okimono of a parasol maker, signed, 20th Century
the figure seated before his working tools, a chest of draws and circular jars with covers scattered around him, a partially finished parasol and paint brush in hand, the figures robes decorated with large stylised flowerheads in gilt lacquer embellished with aogai, seated on an oval wood base raised on four supports, signed Saitei -- 7¾in. (29.7cm.) wide.
