The first depicting a standing sarumawashi (monkey-trainer) fastening his left sandal, a monkey sitting on his bundle, the face of the monkey painted red; the second an erotic netsuke depicting a woman wrapped in a large robe like a Daruma, the bottom with a round stopper opening to reveal the vagina of the woman, face and vagina inlaid in ivory; the fourth depicting a seated traveller with a head-scarf and a large bag containing oni looking out, face of the oni inlaid in ivory, signed on a rectangular ivory reserve Kosai; the fourth depicting a rat-catcher turning to see the escaped rat crawling on his left thigh, signed Masa(...)
