2 vols, 4° (345 x 260mm). Illustrated throughout, some plates in colour. (Light soiling and browning in the margins of the first and last few leaves; lacking tissue guards.) Publisher's original blue cloth, sides and spines ruled in red, spines and upper sides gilt-lettered, original red endpapers, edges red (extremities rubbed, spines lightly and evenly faded, some soiling to the sides). Provenance: 'Printed in Russia' (title stamp).
FIRST EDITION. Published on the occasion of the centenary of this regiment, formed in 1803 from the Odessa Hussars. (2)
