I, 1920, and Period III, vol. I, 1922, blue cloth and gilt; Macquoid, P., History of English Furniture, 3 volumes, 'The Age of Oak', 1904, 'The Age of Walnut', 1905, 'The Age of Mahogany', 1906, ('The Age of Satinwood') missing, red cloth and gilt; Rufford Abbey House sale catalogue, 11 Ocotober 1938; Symonds, R.W., Old English Walnut & Lacquer Furniture, 1923, with dedication inside in ink 'To J.
