A pair of famille rose pricket sticks, 19th century
formed in two sections, the bell-shaped base section surmounted by a lobed centre, the upper section with wide dripping tray issuing a long tapering neck with a smaller tray forming the terminal, painted in coloured enamels with large multi-coloured pheonix alternating with scrolling hibiscus, the interior of tray and lobed mid-section depicting iron-red bats inflight amongst colourful scrolling clouds -- 18 1/8in. (46cm.) high. (2)
