A blue and white ovoid vase, Transitional, circa 1640
with parallel neck and base, painted with equestrians and their attendants amongst rockwork and waterfalls, a robed gentleman pointing them in the direction they should now take, decorated between twin slender bands of incised decoration, the rim with a collar of demi-leaf designs -- 9 3/8in. (23.8cm.) high.
