A LATE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT & CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL SPOON,
MARK OF PAVEL OVCHINNIKOV, MOSCOW, 1883,
Ovoid bowl & tapering stem with knop finial, the bowl with gilt scrollwork on egg-shell blue ground encirlced by bright green foliage, egg-shell blue beads & alternate powder blue & turquoise heart motifs separated by small slanted black bars, the knop & upper section of stem also enamelled, 7½ in. long (19 cm.).
