A LATE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER & CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL SPOON,
MARK OF CHLEBNIKOV, "88" STANDARD, ST.PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1890,
With spiral twist stem, knop finial & ovoid bowl, the latter enamelled with a cockerel encircled by flowers in bright colours, red, yellow, white, dark & light greens & blues, the bowl engraved inside it's gilt interior with initial "K", 6¾ in. long (17.3 cm.).
