A LATE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER & CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL MATCH BOX HOLDER,
MARK OF NIKOLAY NEMIROV-KOLODKIN, MAKER'S MARK ONLY, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1895,
The top with an enamelled photographic transfer portrait of a gentleman posing by a chair, bordered in white, 3/4 length, the back with a fan in pink, red, green, white & 3 shades of blue below a monogram in scrollwork surround, the sides enamelled at top & bottom with dark blue panels, each with red & turquoise drop motifs in the corners, 2 3/8 in. long (6 cm.).
