the first of two courtiers in an amorous embrace, details stained, signed Takahiro in a rectangular reserve, with box inscribed Ise Monogatari and signed; a young woman being attacked by a large octopus, signed Ikkosai; another of an woman holding a mirror and blackening her teeth, signed Yoshikazu; and an octopus -- the first 1 5/8in. (4.2cm.) high. (4)
