Gifted by the artist to the present owner in 1985.

Lot Essay

The present work was reproduced on the cover of a magazine that the present owner put together from student work when he was writer in residence at King's College, Cambridge, 1984-1985. Michael Craig-Martin had been previously artist in residence at King's College.
