One finely embroidered on one side with a flock of cranes and a pine tree, the reverse with a flock of birds pecking at the ground, perched on a rock, and swooping amidst a wisteria vine, with a black and white woven edging; the other embroidered and worked in counted stitch on a couched gold-thread ground on one side with a pair of cranes and a deer below a pine tree, and on the reverse with a cabbage and tree peony, with woven blue-green edging
