CIRCA 1730, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, DREHER'S QUARTERED CIRCLE TO TEABOWL AND STAR TO SAUCER
The teabowl with two panels painted with merchants in conversation among barrels on quaysides within gilt cartouches with interlocking scrollwork and purple diaper-panels, the interior with a purpurmalerei vignette, the saucer with a winter scene, with figures skating on a lake, within a shaped quatrefoil cartouche with gilt, purple and iron red scrolls within gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk borders, the underside with three sprays of indianische Blumen (slight wear to gilding on well and rims) (2)
