CIRCA 1735, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, GILDER'S 4. TO BOTH PIECES
One side painted with an estuary scene with merchants before distant ships, the other with a chapel and a castle in an extensive landscape, within shaped gilt line panels with Böttger-lustre panels, gilt scrolls and iron-red and purple Laub-und-Bandelwerk, the spout and S-scroll handle with indianische Blumen, the domed cover with a continuous estuary scene (restoration to spout, slight wear to rim of cover)
