CIRCA 1770, IMPRESSED NO 1 TO BASE, UNDERGLAZE BLUE F TO UPPER RIM OF VASE
Each side painted with rustic figures before thatched cottages and farm buildings in wooded river landscapes, divided by acanthus scroll-moulded handles enriched in gilding, the domed cover with vignettes of farm workers in fields below a pink rose bud finial, within gilt line rims (finial and cover restored with associated areas of gilding retouched, slight flaking to gilt lines, minute surface scratching)
