CIRCA 1790, UNDERGLAZE BLUE SCRIPT F AND Z MARKS, INCISED Z:3 MARKS
The cup with an angular handle, the front applied with a low-relief biscuit quarter-length portrait of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Jerusalem in profile to the right above gilt laurels, the saucer with a sepia trophy of books, manuscripts, a quill and a myrtle branch, with fluted, gilt dot and line borders (gilt rim of cup worn, further slight wear)
