CIRCA 1770-75, UNDERGLAZE BLUE PITCHFORK MARK
Painted in Purpurmalerei with a loose bouquet and scattered flower-sprays, the border with a rocaille escutcheon enclosing an MS monogram surmounted by a coronet, within an alt Brandenstein ozier-moulded border (scratching to puce enamel, small rim chip at 7 o'clock, short stained hairline crack at 9 o'clock)
