CIRCA 1830, UNDERGLAZE BLUE WAVE MARK
Of amphora form with an everted rim, the waisted neck gilt with fruiting vine, the richly-gilt loop handles with matt-gilt palmette terminals, the front painted with a view of Frederiksborg Castle in Copenhagen within an oval tooled gilt cartouche, the reverse reserved with a gilt wreath enclosing a lyre on crossed trumpets, on a circular spreading foot gilt with stiff-leaves, gilt band rims (restoration to neck, handles and footrim with associated retouching, some wear to gilding)
