LATE 19TH/20TH CENTURY, BLUE AND GILT SPURIOUS INTERLACED L'S MARKS, THE LARGEST SIGNED LAUQUE, ONE OF THE SMALLER EXAMPLES SIGNED RENE
Comprising one large box and three smaller examples, the tops painted with a couple playing backgammon, Bacchus attended by a nymph and a putto, a couple dancing as a bagpiper plays or a woman churning butter as a rooster stands by, all within gilt foliate scroll cartouches, the sides painted with landscapes
