Of unusual form, the flat base rising through a sharply cusped cavetto to the flat everted rim, the white interior painted in lustre with a central scrolling arabesque roundel within a band of naskh inscription, the cavetto with further inscriptions running around the lobes, the rim with a band of reserved kufic, the exterior with panels of bold scrolling motifs, repaired breaks, very slight iridescence
