Gouache heightened with gold on paper, Krishna stands fluting and dancing towards the centre of the composition surrounded by gopies holding various musical instruments and clapping, in the foreground a group of men and cows also stand looking on, across the background streches a lake behind which stand cows and a town on the horizon, mounted, framed and glazed
