Of short cylindrical form with separate lid that revolves to reveal the opening, the silver gilt body with repeated floral motifs in green, cobalt, manganese and light blue enamels, the top similarly decorated and with central knop finial, minor loss of enamels

This particular form of snuff-box, imported from Europe, is for obvious reasons known as a "miser's snuff box". English examples are known in silver, but it is very rare in Indian silver.
