Cal. 240 nickel-finished lever movement, 27 jewels, free-sprung gyromax balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, 22k gold mini rotor, ivory-white dial with applied gold "obus" numerals, circular water-resistant-type case with hobnail bezel, case, dial and movement signed, with an 18k gold Patek Philippe buckle

Accompanied by Patek Philippe cardboard slipcase, leather-covered box, suede pouch, pamphlets and certificate dated 5/12/98 by Gotthelf. The watch is further accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1997 and its subsequent sale on April 22nd of the following year.

According to our research the present watch has never before appeared at auction. It is only one of 15 examples of the reference 3992 known to the market.

The reference 3992 was introduced to the market in 1988 and remained in production until at least 2000. So far only yellow gold examples have appeared at auction.
