WEST PERSIA, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The ivory field with an indigo medallion surrounded by polychrome flowering vine, in a shaded rust-red flowerhead and linked vine border between ivory floral meander stripes, light localised wear, corroded brown, small tears to one side, selvages and ends frayed; and a Zili sultan rug, West Persia, circa 1900, the ivory field with an overall design of flowering vases with decorative paired birds, in an ivory flowering vase broder between reciprocal minor stripes, short split in field, ends frayed, fair condition
The Sarouk rug: 6ft.7in. x 4ft.2in. (201cm. x 127cm.)
The Zili Sultan rug: 6ft.6in. x 4ft.8in. (198cm.x 142cm.) (2)
