The shaded rust-red field with an overall design of palmettes linked by flowering vine, in an abrashed sky-blue palmette vine border between ivory floral meander stripes, light localised spots of wear; and a Tabriz rug, signed Benlian, North West Persia, circa 1930, the golden yellow field with a flowering tree issuing split-palmettes and exotic-headed animals, the linked pale blue spandrels filled with scrolling vine, in an ivory palmette vine border between indigo flowerhead stripes, overall very good condition
