Applied with two petal-shaped egg-cups flanking a waisted pedestal-shaped salt, the centre painted with a landscape vignette with a building in an arched and canted shaped-rectangular white and blue line cartouche flanked by white strapwork enclosing blue and ochre diaper-pattern panels above pendant ochre drapery, within a white scrolled border highlighted with ochre leaves and blue scrolls (hairline crack from rim at 11 o'clock, minute fritting to rim)
