The decoration based on drawings from the Schulz Codex, the interior with a vignette of figures discussing wares on a shaded yellow and green ground and enclosed within concentric iron-red medallions, the exterior with a continuous view of similar figures with wares to one side, a child riding a donkey to the other, all above concentric iron-red lines, a gilt band around the footrim
