An 18th-century French ivory diptych dial unsigned and undated, leaf 2a with a horizontal dial V-XII-VII, thirty-two-point hand-coloured compass rose with needle, leab 1b with markings for a dial turned into decoration with punches for five-pointed stars, leaves 1a & 2b plain, with three brass hooks for holding the dial open or closed, later metal suspension ring.
