The rectangular top decorated with dancing figures and groups of musicians among scrolling foliate strapwork, the central trio performing on a stage beneath a dome, each panelled frieze decorated with similar seated figures, birds and chimera and each centred by a bearded mask, one side enclosing a drawer, the cabriole legs headed by further mask clasps and with foliate wrapped hoof sabots
