A famille rose square sectioned vase, Yongzheng (1723-1735)
of baluster form, moulded in relief to the large panels of the body with still-life scenes of vases, censers, and fruit bowls with further precious objects, with panels to the base and shoulder painted with cartouches of peony and chrysanthemum flowerheads surrounded by further flowering blossoms on a green stippled ground --17¾in. (45cm.) high, fitted box.
