Signing in benediction, carrying the Gospels with his veiled, left hand, Christ and the Mother of God on clouds, flanking St. Nicholas and presenting him with the Gospels and the Bishop's stole respectively, the silver oklad bearing traces of gilding, the cut-out halo supplemented by an Episcopal mitre in relief, the border decorated with repetitive, stylised patterns
